About Me
Armed with a clunky VHS camcorder, Becky fell in love with filmmaking at the age of thirteen in the rural Pacific Northwest. Countless short films and bottles of fake blood later, she’s gone on to write about the genre for sites like Dread Central; has written, produced, and directed two feature films; and was selected as a Shudder Labs fellow.
Becky has edited over 20 short films, 2 features, and several other non-narrative work, including promotional videos, non-profit fundraising pieces, weddings, and memoriams.
Becky has written 4 feature screenplays and has many more on the way. These projects and a slate of short films are under development via the Suburban Ghost label, which she created with her partner, Brad McHargue. You can find out more about Suburban Ghost here.
